Hi Friends, this is a record for me; 2 posts in one day. I haven't posted any pics of my art journal pages for a while, so I thought I would share this one that I finished the other day. I have some fairy themed things that I have not been able to use up in my scrapbooking etc. as I have boys and fairies just don't seem to fit. Anyway, this picture of the little fairy boy on the doorstep of the fairy girl was given to my by a German friend a few years ago and I am pleased to have used it at last. It speaks to me of a bygone era when the young gentleman would come to the front door and ask the young lady if she would do him the honour of accompanying him to the dance. Uh oh, this might be giving away my age. Oh well, you get the gist. I thought it was so sweet. I hope you enjoy it, too.

Hi Friends, it seems like this week just got away on me before I knew what was happening. Anyway, I did manage to make a card following this week's Mojo Monday sketch. It was a great sketch, but I am afraid I didn't really do it justice this time. I was in a big hurry as I needed a birthday card at very short notice for a young man's eighteenth. I hope he liked it. He is big into drama and acting and singing etc. The weekend is nearly over now, so I hope you feel refreshed and ready for the week ahead. Will catch up next time, have a great week.

Hi Friends, I have discovered that I have been doing the links to Mojo Monday incorrectly, so I am trying again with a new card. Blue again, but teamed with gold and incorporating different shapes for a completely different feel to this fun sketch. Hope your week is going well. 😊

Hi Friends, it's a new week and a new sketch over at Mojo Monday. I am all over this one. It is super cute and so much fun to play with. Changing the theme is easy with different shapes, so I am off to see what else I can do with this fabulous sketch. Have a great week, Peeps.

Ideal ATC swap group

Hi Friends, hope your week is going well. Here are the ATC's I created for the Ideal ATC swap group. As you may be able to guess, the theme is shades of blue. The addition of bling was another requirement for this swap. I had so much fun making them. I hope the girls in the swap enjoy them. I think my favourite one is the little blue dragon surrounded by gems from his stash in his cave. Have a great weekend, folks.

Another Valentine

Hi Friends, here is the second card I made using last week's Mojo Monday sketch. This time I used the little hearts that came with Julee's digi stamp set, as well as the quote. I am so pleased with how it turned out. I haven't been well this week and so I feel I may not get any more cards done. However, I will soon be able to show you the ATC's I have been creating for the Ideal ATC swap group. Hope your week is going well. Will catch up again soon.

Hi Friends, it's Mojo time again and here is my entry. Julee has created a square card sketch this week and, while I don't do a lot of square cards, this one was so much fun to do and turned out so cute I think. I did rearrange the elements a little as I have been wanting to use these red heart shaped doilies I have in my stash. Again, I used the digital stamps from Verve for the quote (thanks, Julee). Looking at it now I should have used the gorgeous little hearts that came with the set. Ok, time to make another one. Hope your week is going well.
