Mojo 481

Hi Friends, hope your week went well. I am still having troubles with photos so my entry is very late. Anyway, at least I have it done and can now show you my efforts. Everyone is doing Valentines theme at the moment, so I thought I would follow suit. I love working with red. It is my favourite colour.  Many thanks to Julee from Mojo Monday and Verve stamps for her free digital stamps download. These are so much fun and the thoughts behind them are special. I know she has made a difference with her work. Have a great week ahead, folks.

Mojo 480

Woohoo, my techie son fixed the problem with the pictures and I can now upload my example of Mojo 480. It was a fun sketch and I do enjoy joining in the challenge. Thanks to the girls over at Mojo Monday for continuing the sketch challenge this year.

Hi Friends, I have completed my card for Mojo 480, but unfortunately I can't upload it at the moment for some strange reason. I am somewhat disappointed, but that's life and I'm sure I will get the problem sorted out soon. Instead, here is another recent picture from my art journal. Hi Friends, I have done another art journal page that I am particularly happy with. Its a double page spread in an altered book art journal I have just started. The photo doesn't show the pretty iridescent medium or shimmer sprays I used. In the sunlight it really is nice.

Mojo 479

Hi Friends, another week has flown by in a blur and there is a new sketch over at Mojo Monday. It's pretty cool and I had fun with it. I'm hoping this card looks more masculine because we have so many boys in our extended family and male themed cards seem to pose more of a challenge for me. I do enjoy making them, of course, but pretty feminine ones seem so much easier. Go figure. :)

Woohoo, Mojo Monday has started up their sketch challenge again and it's competition week. Here is my entry for Mojo 478. I am really happy with how it turned out. I love giving out thank you cards to let people know how much I appreciate them and I think this sketch lent itself very nicely to this purpose. Have a great week, Friends.

Hi Friends, the holidays are great. I love spending time with family and friends. Crafting never stops, however, so I wanted to show you my most recent art journal page. It's mixed media again and I used off cuts of wallpaper which had these amazing branches and birds and flowers. I really like this one along with the little verse. I trust you are enjoying this time.
