5 Step Art Journal

Hi Friends, as I said I would, here are a couple of pics of my art journal that I have been working on this past week. I saw on the internet a five step art journal designed to get the creative juices flowing. This technique was developed by Shannon Greene, I think. Anyway, she's the lady I got the idea from. I am new to art journaling, so my art is still fairly basic. However, I have really enjoyed this process and am learning a lot about how products work together and that kind of thing. Some amazing results can come from simple methods. It's also an excellent way to relieve stress. Have a great week, folks.

Hi Friends, I have been a busy crafter this week and I will share with you some of what I have been doing, but today here is this weeks Mojo Monday sketch challenge. I know it's Friday, life is full. I used papers from Kaisercraft called close up. It's from an older collection, but that's how I buy them since they are on special. I am quite pleased with how this card turned out. It is a general themed card because I went mad last year making Christmas cards and, truly, I won't need any more Christmas themed cards for a long time. Hope you like it. Have a great weekend.

Art Journal

Hi Friends, I have just completed an art journal page which is my take on Vicky Papaioannou's dream catcher art journal page. This lady does wonderful work and her tutorials are so inspirational. Because I am new to art journaling I did make a few errors, such as the smudged stamping. Also, my art journal is an altered book so the pages are warped. It doesn't worry me, but may look odd to anyone who sees it. I hope you like it. Have a great weekend,everybody.

Ideal ATC Swap Group

Hi Friends, the ATC swaps from Ideal arrived today and they are wonderful. The theme was 'Life's a Beach' and everyone came up with their own unique take on this theme. Many thanks to the girls over at Ideal for allowing me to join in. Here is a pic of the ATCs, four of them are mine (1, 2, 3, & 9) and the others are the swaps. Hope you like them. Hi Friends, I have just completed the new card for Mojo Monday. I had such fun creating this one, making use of brads and glitter glue and my tiny angel punch. The red and white paper has a felt texture which is nice to touch. This was a great sketch and I think I might make another Christmas card from it in non-traditional colours. Anyway, I hope you like it.
